Day-by-day itinerary

Exactly what happens on each day.

  1. Day 1

    Malang – Bali – Uluwatu

    • Meet in Malang and depart at midnight by coach to Ketapang port (about 7 hours), cross to Gilimanuk, then drive on to south Bali (about 3.5 hours)
    • Guests from Surabaya can fly from Juanda and are met at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport
    • Lunch at a local restaurant in the Jimbaran area
    • Uluwatu Temple on its 70-metre cliff, followed by the Kecak dance at sunset
    • Seafood dinner on Jimbaran Beach
    • Hotel check-in in the Kuta area

  2. Day 2

    Ubud & Tegalalang

    • Breakfast at the hotel
    • The Tegalalang rice terraces seen from the Ceking viewpoint
    • A luwak coffee plantation with a coffee and tea tasting
    • Balinese lunch in the Ubud area
    • Ubud Art Market and Puri Saren Agung palace
    • Dinner, then back to the hotel

  3. Day 3

    Padangbai – Tanah Lot

    • Breakfast at the hotel, then the drive to Padangbai (about 1.5 hours)
    • Snorkelling at Blue Lagoon with a water guide
    • Lunch by the beach
    • Souvenir shopping at Sukawati Market and Krisna
    • Sunset at Tanah Lot Temple
    • Dinner, then back to the hotel

  4. Day 4

    Bali – Back to Malang

    • Breakfast and hotel check-out
    • Guests flying home are transferred to I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport
    • Coach to Gilimanuk, the ferry to Ketapang, then the drive back to Malang (about 11 hours including the crossing)
    • Arrive back at the Malang meeting point in the evening
